Who are we?

The teaching follows modern and scientific principles. Problem-oriented thinking and problem-solving strategies, as well as professional communication and appropriate patient-doctor communication skills, are important elements in the curriculum, as is learning the ethical and social principles governing medicine. Finally, graduates should distinguish themselves in their decision-making abilities, practical experience and social responsibility.

Paracelsus Medical Private University’s goals are to contribute to the current and future safe-guarding of optimal medical patient care in university clinics and throughout the region of Salzburg, and also to give national impulses for the continual improvement of medical care. Continuing education and a lifetime of learning should be a natural part of a medical or educational career.
